Limited restore options:
The Zoho CRM backup feature only allows users to restore the entire CRM database, which means it’s not possible to restore a specific record or field. It is also very difficult to restore any related records for the altered or deleted record which can result in only partial restorations of your data.
Limited retention period:
Zoho CRM backup feature only retains one data backup at a time, which is not sufficient for most businesses with longer data retention policies. The admin is responsible for manually downloading each backup and saving it in a secure location before the next backup is generated.
Zoho backups are limited to your CRM data and do not include any of your data from Zoho Books, Subscriptions and Inventory.
Inability to customize backup frequency:
Users can only set the frequency of the automated backup to bi-monthly or weekly (paid) and cannot set a specific time for the backup to occur.
Backup process interruption:
The backup process may be interrupted due to server maintenance, network connectivity issues, or other technical problems, which could result in data loss or incomplete backups.
