Marketing & Business Development Intern
Catalyst Group is recruiting for our next class of interns. The internship will be technology and sales based over a 3 month term. During the internship you will assist with client CRM implementations, and other software development tasks as your skillset permits during the first month. The second month your responsibilities will fall to marketing where you will work with your assigned account manager to generate and qualify potential clients. The final phase of your internship will turn to sales. You will work alongside your assigned account manager and owner of Catalyst Group to learn consultative sales and onboard new clients. Post internship you may be offered a position on the business development team or operations depending on your success and demonstrated proficiency during the internship.
The marketing intern will be responsible for identifying and implementing initiatives to increase brand value and inbound lead generation. The position will play a key role in executing Catalyst Groups marketing strategy through the following:
- 1. Implementing Search Engine Optimization initiatives provided by our senior developers.
- 2. Writing and promoting articles for the company blog.
- 3. Registering Catalyst group as a service provider to agencies and organizations.
- 4. Designing and implementing automated email marketing campaigns.
- 5. Interfacing with clients to explore cross sell opportunities.
The position will be supported and coached by Catalyst Group’s management team to provide the intern with a solid, cross functional foundation of marketing and business development. By the end of the internship, the intern will know how to setup, build and run an efficient business using the latest tools and services to minimize overhead and maximize efficiency.
